AJ+ is a global media brand creating bold, visually engaging journalism that brings underreported stories to the forefront and connects worldwide audiences through powerful digital storytelling.

AJ+ commissioned Kayen Peppa to redesign their digital experience in a way that reflects the bold, energetic, and socially driven nature of the brand. The goal was to create a vibrant visual universe using expressive typography, strong contrast, playful graphic elements, and layered media content to capture attention and amplify storytelling. The design approach was crafted to communicate urgency, cultural relevance, and editorial impact while making the platform feel dynamic, modern, and unmistakably distinctive.

With mobile now playing a central role in how audiences consume digital content, Kayen Peppa approached the mobile experience as a key part of the platform rather than a secondary adaptation. The goal was to preserve the brand’s bold editorial energy while ensuring that stories, videos, and interactive content remain easy to browse and engaging on smaller screens. The mobile design focused on clarity, responsiveness, and intuitive navigation to create a seamless experience for users discovering content on the go.

AJ+ enlisted Kayen Peppa to rethink the UX and information architecture of their platform in order to better organize a wide range of editorial content and make discovery more intuitive across devices. The goal was to create a navigation structure that could support stories, shows, videos, and resource-rich content without overwhelming the user. The redesigned UX focused on improving content hierarchy, clarity, and browsing flow, allowing visitors to engage more easily with AJ+’s journalism while preserving the brand’s bold and energetic personality.
